Imagine a pinball board fixed inclined, like the coin-operated ones in arcades. Now imagine a silver ball at the top of the board, on the verge of being released into the pool of pins on the board. Replace those pins with blobs of paint of a variety of colours, and gently release your silver ball from the top of the board. It clings, clangs with the various blobs of paint, stealing a bit of paint from each strike and out comes a beautiful multi-coloured ball, splashed with all shades of colours. That's how dreams are made. The coloured pins are completely random memories or thoughts stored in our brain database, and the silver ball is the dream you are creating. The ball scoops a little of one memory, and another, and another to form a crazy unimaginable story which you sometimes remember in the morning. But, in reality, these scoops are simply disjoint fragments from you RAM(Random Access Memory), and our morning subconscious mind creates a path to try to make sense of it. That, for you, is how we dream!
